Sarah Taylor

My true passion is to help people to be the best version of themselves; influencing managerial excellence and the transition to inspiring leadership in a real and credible way.

Whether working with a Senior Director one to one to help vision the next stage of their leadership/career, through to working with teams to elicit greater engagement & improved communication, my approach is authentic, highly versatile and grounded in the realities of the specific commercial or cultural need.

Following a successful career working as a planner/buyer within media communications across brands such as Cadburys, Levis, McDonalds & Heineken for over 15 years, my career changed direction when I became Head of Learning & Development for Starcom MediaVest Group in 2008.

I am now an independent Personal Development Coach, Team Coach, Facilitator & Talent Management Consultant.

Blending industry and commercial experience with my curiosity & interest in developing people, I have been incredibly proud to have overseen an industry leading programme that has delivered exceptional results both culturally and commercially – receiving Platinum accreditation by the Institute of Practioners in Advertising for 3 years running, as well as being a central component in achieving Sunday Times Best 100 Companies placement for 4 years. My approach has always been to take care & time to understand the needs of the individual as well as the business to ensure that development is meaningful whilst adaptable, innovative & diverse. To this end, I have also been involved in shaping a variety of well-being experiences that have gained Mumsnet Family Friendly Gold accreditation alongside partnering on Women’s Returnship Programmes.

This wealth of experience has allowed me to have a rounded perspective of the importance of investing in talent in the most impactful way; balancing the business agenda whilst understanding the differentiating needs of leadership, management, teams and individuals.

Partnering with clients in a trusted & collaborative way, bespoke approaches are shaped to ensure absolute integration with the culture and commercial agenda. The diveristy of initiatives spans self-discovery, leadership, management, communication, creativity, vision and brand articulation, blended with a healthy dose of fun!

I am a certified MBTI & FIRO-B Practioner and in Coaching trained with Barefoot Team Coaching,  MBTI in Coaching, Resilience, Innovation & Change Management alongside Thinking Partnership (Nancy Kline) and Vision Day Intensive Coaching (Leadership Coaching). I am also certified by the IPA as a Diagonal Thinker.
